At home

Oxygen therapy can be given to the patient in a number of ways including:
	Nasal prongs placed in the nose with the tubing secured over the ear (nasal cannula).
	Face mask placed over the nose and mouth. This is less common.
	Oxygen treatment for short periods during the day when walking about (ambulatory oxygen).
