Common mistakes when using an MDI inhaler

Not shaking MDI before use.
Inhaling too early before pressing canister.
Inhaling too late after pressing canister.
Not leaving enough time between doses (patients should wait at least 30 – 60 seconds before taking next puff to give enough time for propellant and medicine to mix together).
