Increased risk of developing asthma

The exact cause of asthma is unknown however there are some criteria which mean that a person may be at increased risk of developing asthma:

Person with cold/flu blowing nose Infections – such as repeated upper respiratory tract infections
Cigarette with smoke Tobacco smoke – including second hand smoke
Person sawing wood with dust Certain occupations, dusty environments or the use of chemicals
Mould spores Poor housing, damp or mould
Car exhaust fumes Environmental factors – such as car exhaust pollution
